كشفت شركة «في إم وير» النقاب اليوم عن أوّل منصة موحدة للحوسبة الافتراضية والشبكات والتخزين يتم استخدامها مع السحابة الهجينة. وستمكن المنصّة الجديدة، المعرّفة بالبرمجيات، العملاء من إنشاء بيئة مستقرّة عبر البيئات السحابية الخاصة والعامّة بما يمكّنها من تشغيل كافة التطبيقات السحابية أو التقليدية، فضلا عن إدارتها وحمايتها، كما ستوفّر للعملاء حرية الاختيار في كيفية بناء وإدارة التطبيقات والبيئات السحابية وفقاً للمتطلبات الخاصة.

 وتشهد أعمال الشركات تغيرات كبيرة مع انتقال القيمة من الأصول المادية إلى أصول أخرى مثل البرامج والبيانات، وخلال هذه الفترة من التحوّل يقوم مدراء تقنية المعلومات بالتوجه نحو الحوسبة السحابية لتعزيز المرونة في العمل، وفي هذا السياق يجب الفرز بين المنصات السحابية الموجودة في الموقع وخارجه، كما يجب الحفاظ على المستويات المطلوبة من الحماية والامتثال لقوانين عمل المؤسسة، وتساعد شركة في إم وير العملاء خلال هذه المرحلة من التحوّل من خلال جعل البرامج والخدمات في صميم الأعمال للتمهيد لنموذج جديد لعمل تقنية المعلومات.

 وقد تمّ الكشف عن المنصة الجديدة خلال مؤتمر صحفي أقيم في مدينة سان فرانسيسكو، حيث كشفت الشركة أيضا عن حلول وخدمات جديدة للسحابة الهجينة، ومنها:

 VMware vSphere 6: يوفر الإصدار الجديد أكثر من 650 ميزة وابتكار جديدين، فضلا عن قدرات جديدة لتلبية المتطلبات الفريدة لتطبيقات الأعمال، سواء التقليدية منها أو السحابية، والتي تحتاج إلى أداء أعلى أو إلى أن يتم استخدامها على نطاق أوسع. كما تعيد الحلول الجديدة تعريف البنية التحتية ومستويات الخدمة للتطبيقات وجانب التوافرية فيها.

 VMware Integrated OpenStack: وتمكّن هذه الحلول المؤسسات من تزويد المطوّرين بواجهات مفتوحة لبرمجة التطبيقات (API) بسرعة وبجدوى اقتصادية عالية، مما يتيح لهم الوصول إلى البنية التحتية لشركة في إم وير التي تتناسب مع مستوى الشركات الكبيرة. وتتولى في إم وير جمع واختبار ودعم كافة مكوّنات التوزيع، بما في ذلك الكود البرمجي المفتوح المصدر OpenStack، كما تتولى عملية التوزيع بصورة مجانية لكافة عملاء VMware vSphere.

 VMware Virtual SAN™ 6 and vSphere Virtual Volumes: صممت حلول VMware Virtual SAN 6 لتتيح تبنّي تقنيات التخزين المعرّف بالبرامج على نطاق واسع، وستضيف هذه الحلول المزيد من التحسينات في مجال الأداء وقابلية التوسع إلى حلول الشركة المتكاملة للتخزين. كم ستوفر حلول VMware vSphere Virtual Volumes مستوى جديداً من التكامل في التخزين بما يتيح لمصفوفات التخزين الخارجية التعرّف على الأجهزة الافتراضية.  

 الخدمات الشبكية الهجينة VMware vCloud Air المدعومة بحلول VMware NSX:

أطلقت شركة في إم وير الخدمات الشبكية vCloud Air التي ستساعد العملاء على الجمع بين السحابة العامة التي توفرها حلول vCloud Air وبين السحابة الخاصة المرتكزة على حلول VMware vSphere، مما يتيح توفير نطاق شبكيّ موحّد وآمن عبر أجهزة من نوع “جيت واي”. وتعتبر VMware NSX منصة افتراضية للشبكة توفر كافة وظائف الشبكة بين الطبقتين الثانية والسابعة في البرمجيات. وقد تم اعتماد حلول VMware NSX كأساس للشبكات في حلول VMware vCloud Air، وستتوفر هذه الحلول في النصف الأول من العام 2015، وستمكّن العملاء من التعامل مع مئات الشبكات الافتراضية التي تجمع بين السحابة الخاصة وبين حلول vCloud Air عبر اتصال واحد بالشبكة اللاسلكية، فضلا عن مشاركة نفس السياسات الأمنية القائمة على عزل الشبكات وعدم الوثوق بالجهات غير المعروفة.

 وتتضمن منصة في إم وير دعما متقدماً للتقنيات الافتراضية للمطورين ومدراء الأنظمة على حدّ سواء والذين يتولون الإشراف على تقنيات توزيع التطبيقات بصورة مستمرة، وتعتمد الشركات على ابتكارات في إم وير الرائدة في مجال الحوسبة والشبكات والتخزين لإدارة الكثير من عملياتها.

 ومن المتوقع أن تتوفر حلول VMware vSphere 6 و VMware Integrated OpenStack و VMware Virtual SAN 6 و VMware vSphere Virtual Volumes في المملكة العربية السعودية خلال الربع الأول من العام 2015.
