ميناء الملك عبد الله يحتفل باستقبال أول سفن وحاويات شركة ” ميرسك لاين ” أكبر شركة للنقل البحري التجاري في العالم ,,
احتفل ميناء الملك عبد الله الذي تديره شركة تطوير الموانئ بمدينة الملك عبدالله الاقتصادية، باستقبال أول سفن وحاويات شركة ميرسك لاين Maersk Line العالمية التي تُعد من أكبر الشركات العاملة في مجال النقل البحري التجاري على مستوى العالم .
وأقيم الاحتفال بميناء الملك عبدالله أثناء استقباله لإحدى أكبر سفن شركة ميرسك لاين والتي يبلغ طولها 398متراً، بمشاركة حرس الحدود، ومصلحة الجمارك وهيئة المدن الاقتصادية وحضور المهندس عبدالله بن محمد حميدالدين العضو المنتدب لشركة تطوير الموانئ، والسيد مارك جيبريتس الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات بشركة ميرسك لاين بمنطقة أسيا الوسطى والغربية، والأستاذ زياد كنعان عضو مجلس إدارة شركة محطات الحاويات الوطنية بميناء الملك عبدالله، وعدد من المسؤولين بشركة تطوير الموانىء، وعملاء ميرسك لاين بالمملكة .
حيث قام المشاركون في الاحتفال بالصعود إلى السفينة والترحيب بطاقمها، وسلم المهندس حميد الدين قبطان السفينة هدية تذكارية احتفالاً بهذه المناسبة .
وأعرب المهندس حميدالدين، في تصريح صحفي بهذه المناسبة عن سعادته باستقبال سفن وحاويات شركة ميرسك لاين التي تعتبر عملاق الشحن العالمي وعملاءها في المملكة، وتقديم أفضل الخدمات المتكاملة لهم، مشيداً في هذا الصدد بالتعاون الهادف والبناء بين ميناء الملك عبد الله وكافة الإدارات الحكومية العاملة بالميناء لاسيما إدارة حرس الحدود ومصلحة الجمارك العامة لجهودهم المتميّزة في خدمة الموانىء السعودية، وكذلك الدور الهام لهيئة المدن الاقتصادية وجهودها البارزة في دعم كافة الأعمال التطويرية بميناء الملك عبد الله لتحقيق الأهداف الإستراتيجية للميناء وتعزيز دوره في تلبية احتياجات السوق السعودي المتنامي والمساهمة في دفع عجلة الاقتصاد الوطني .
ووصف المهندس حميد الدين، شراكة ميناء الملك عبد الله مع ميرسك لاين بأنها ” شراكة هامة ذات مزايا قيّمة ” لأعمال الشحن والمناولة والخدمات اللوجستية بالميناء، مما يؤكد تميّز الميناء بمواصفات فنية عالية وإمكانيات هائلة تجعله واحداً من أهم الموانيء القادرة على كسب ثقة الخطوط البحرية العالمية واستقبال السفن العملاقة.
