وقعت شركة صدارة للكيميائيات اتفاقية جديدة مع شركة إبراهيم أحمد الجفالي وإخوانه، وهي شركة سعودية خاصة، تقضي بتوريد مادة ثلاثي بوتيل جلايكول الأثير (BTG) وذلك بعد التنفيذ الناجح لاتفاقية توريد مادة ميثيلين داي فينيل داي إيزوسيانات (MDI) خلال شهر يوليو 2015. وبحسب الاتفاقية الجديدة، ستقوم شركة صدارة بتوريد مادة ثلاثي بوتيل جلايكول الأثير (BTG) إلى أحد مصانع الإنتاج الجديدة التي سيتم بناؤها ضمن مشروع إنتاج المواد الكيميائية التابع لشركة الجفالي والمقرر إقامته في مجمع “بلاسكيم” في مدينة الجبيل الصناعية الثانية.

وسيتألف مشروع شركة الجفالي من عدة مصانع قادرة على إنتاج مواد كيميائية مميزة تستخدم في مختلف قطاعات المملكة العربية السعودية. وستستخدم بعض وحدات التصنيع منتجات صدارة، بالأخص مصنعي (MDI) و(BTG) اللذين تم الإعلان عنهما مؤخراً فيما ستعتمد وحدات تصنيع أخرى على مواد أولية يتم تأمينها من قبل موردين آخرين.

وسيقام مشروع شركة “الجفالي” في مجمع “بلاسكيم”، الذي يغطي مساحة 12 كيلومتراً مربعاً بجوار مجمع شركة صدارة للكيميائيات. ويمثل مجمع “بلاسكيم” مبادرة صناعية فريدة من نوعها وثمرة للتعاون بين الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع وشركة صدارة، وسيسهم المجمع في تنمية فرص العمل، وتطوير الصناعات التحويلية ذات القيمة المضافة في المملكة.

 وبهذه المناسبة، قال مدير تطوير الصناعات الكيميائية والتحويلية في شركة صدارة المهندس محمد العزّاز: “يمثل تشجيع ودفع التعاون مع الصناعات المحلية أحد أهدافنا في شركة صدارة مع التركيز على تطوير الصناعات التحويلية الكيميائية. كما تعد اتفاقية توريد مادة (BTG) إنجازاً هاماً آخر للتعاون القائم بين صدارة وشركة الجفالي. وسيقوم مشروع الجفالي بإنتاج زيت الفرامل للمركبات بهدف تلبية الطلب المحلي والإقليمي، فضلاً عن إلغاء استيراد هذه المنتجات وتعزيز القيمة المستمدة من إنتاج المواد الكيميائية في الاقتصاد المحلي. وستعمل منتجات مصنعي مادتي (BTG) و(MDI) على خدمة قطاع صناعة السيارات الآخذ بالتطور في المملكة. كما سيلبي إنتاج زيت الفرامل في مصنع مادة (BTG) احتياجات مرحلة ما بعد البيع لقطاع صناعة السيارات في المملكة العربية السعودية ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط”. 
واختتم العزاز قائلاً: “سيكون مجمع بلاسكيم منصة صناعية مميزة للمملكة حيث سيعمل على خدمة قطاع الصناعات التحويلية في المملكة في سلاسل القيمة الرئيسية من خلال أحدث التقنيات التي تعتمدها صدارة. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، ستعمل منتجات صدارة الجديدة من نوعها في المنطقة على تمكين التطبيقات المهمة ضمن العديد من الصناعات الرئيسية، فضلاً عن دعم الاقتصادات المحلية والحد من الحاجة إلى الاعتماد على واردات المنتجات الأساسية.”

وسيشمل مشروع شركة “الجفالي” الذي يعتمد على مادة (BTG) العديد من المنتجات الكيميائية المتخصصة. كما سيشهد إنتاجاً سنوياً يقارب 5 آلاف طن من أجود أنواع زيوت الفرامل وفق مختلف درجات اللزوجة. ويمثل المشروع أول وحدة لإنتاج زيت الفرامل في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا حيث سيعمل على تلبية الاحتياجات المتزايدة لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط من هذه المنتجات لتحل محل الواردات. ويقترب هذا المشروع من الاعتماد بشكل كلي على المواد الأولية الواردة من شركة صدارة، محققاً الاستفادة من موقعها المميز. وستقوم شركة الجفالي باستصدار التراخيص لاستقدام أحدث التقنيات وتنفيذ التصاميم وأعمال الهندسة الاستشارية لاتمام المشروع. كما ستخدم منتجات زيت الفرامل مختلف مصنّعي المعدات الأصلية، والموّردين الأساسيين والثانوين، وعملاء السوق الثانوية ومصنّعي المركبات التجارية.

ومن الجدير بالذكر أنّ شركة الجفالي شركة تجارية سعودية تم تأسيسها عام 1946م، حيث تمتد أعمال الشركة على عدد واسع من القطاعات بما فيها المقاولات الكهربائية، والتكنولوجيا، والهندسة، وصناعة السيارات، والكيميائيات، والبناء، والمعدات، وقطاع الخدمات الخاصة والمعدات المنزلية. وتستهدف المصانع الجديدة لإنتاج مادة الـ (BTG) والـ (MDI) تلبية متطلبات السلامة من خلال إنتاج معدات السلامة التابعة لقطاع صناعة السيارات وتطوير الصناعة المحلية لانتاج قطع غيار السيارات وتنمية قطاع الصناعات التحويلية في المملكة.

ومن المتوقع أن يستقطب مجمع “بلاسكيم” استثمارات متنوعة في تطبيقات متعددة للصناعات التحويلية، منها إنتاج كيميائيات النفط والغاز، ومواد البناء، ومواد الطلاء، إضافة إلى منتجات العناية الشخصية والمنزلية. ومن المنتظر أن توفر هذه الاستثمارات فرص عمل جديدة لأبناء المملكة العربية السعودية في قطاع الصناعات التحويلية، كما ستسهم في تحقيق خطط المملكة في تنويع الاقتصاد.

Sadara Chemical Company and E. A. Juffali & Brothers, a privately-owned Saudi company, have signed a second supply agreement, this time for Butyl Tri-Glycol ether (BTG), following the successful execution of an MDI supply agreement in July 2015. With this new agreement, Sadara will supply BTG to one of the new plants that will be built in the planned Juffali chemical production complex to be based among other plants in PlasChem Park in Saudi Arabia’s Jubail Industrial City II

The new Juffali complex will consist of several manufacturing plants designed to produce highly differentiated chemicals and products slated for use in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s various industries. Some of the plants will receive a direct feed of Sadara’s products, namely the MDI plant and the BTG plant that have been announced thus far, while other plants will rely on raw materials provided by other suppliers

The PlasChem Park where the new Juffali complex will reside, among other downstream manufacturers, is adjacent to the Sadara Chemical Complex and covers a 12km² area.  It is a unique industrial platform and a collaborative effort between the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) and Sadara, and is positioned for the development of new value added downstream manufacturing and business opportunities

“One of our objectives at Sadara is to encourage and drive collaboration with local industries with the aim of developing the downstream chemical business. This BTG supply agreement is yet another milestone achievement between Sadara and Juffali. The Juffali BTG project will produce auto brake fluids to meet the local and regional demand, and can reduce or even eliminate the import of these products and enhance the value derived from chemical production in the local economy. The products from the MDI and the BTG plants are well positioned to serve the evolving auto manufacturing industry in the Kingdom. Additionally, the brake fluid production from the BTG plant will cater to the auto industry’s after-market needs in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the MENA region,” said Mohammad Alazzaz, Director of Value Park at Sadara

“PlasChem Park will be a differentiated industrial platform to serve the Kingdom’s downstream manufacturing sector in key value chains based on Sadara’s state of the art technologies. Our products, many of which will be introduced to the region for the first time, will enable important applications in a number of key industries, support the local economies and reduce the need to rely on imports for essential products,” concluded Alazzaz

The Juffali BTG project will encompass several specialty chemical products and includes production of about 5,000 tons / year of different grades of premium brake fluids. It will be the first brake fluid production unit in the Middle East and North Africa and will supply the Middle East’s growing demand for these products, replacing imports. This Project is almost totally dependent on raw material from Sadara and its location is most advantageous. Juffali will license state of the art technology, process design and engineering advisory to complete its project, and the resulting brake fluid products will serve OEM, related accounts, aftermarket and commercial transportation customers
