Dragon World hosted a high-level meeting at its headquarters in Riyadh, bringing together the group’s leadership with a distinguished delegation representing six major companies from the People’s Republic of China. The gathering was also attended by prominent Saudi businessmen and businesswomen.
The discussions focused on potential collaboration across strategic sectors, including:

This meeting comes as part of the future plans of Chinese companies preparing to launch operations in Riyadh in early 2026. These companies aim to establish strategic partnerships with the Saudi private sector to drive knowledge transfer, localize industries, and support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
In his remarks, Dr. Wang, Chief Operating Officer of Dragon World, emphasized that the initiative marks the beginning of a new phase of economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China. He noted that Chinese companies are eager to invest in the Kingdom’s dynamic market and contribute to its major development projects.
Mr. Ding Bing Yan, Executive Director of Operations at Dragon World, added that the growing Chinese interest in Saudi investments reflects the increasing confidence in the Kingdom’s business environment. He highlighted that the coming period will witness the launch of joint projects that will bolster the local economy and create diverse investment opportunities.
The meeting was attended by leading Saudi business figures, including Dr. Zayed Al-Zaidi, Jamal Al-Adar, Dr. Saad Al-Ahmari, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sulfeeh, Dr. Hatem Hassanain, and Mohammed Basheer Hijazi. Businesswomen Asmaa Al-Murdi and Doha Al-Shammari also participated, along with representatives of major contracting companies.
