The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) is set to host Saudi eLeague Fighting: Road to Evo France this September at SEF Arena in Riyadh, bringing together the fighting game community for a competitive event that gives players the opportunity to earn their way to one of the world’s leading fighting game events, Evo France 2026.
The competition will begin with Street Fighter 6 on September 10, followed by Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on September 11, with players competing for prize money and the opportunity to take their competitive journey from Riyadh to the international stage in France.
The Evolution Championship Series (Evo) is one of the world’s most established and prominent fighting game tournament series, bringing together professional players and fighting game communities from around the world across some of the genre’s biggest titles. Evo France 2026 will take place in Nice, France, from October 9–11, providing a global stage for leading players and the international fighting game community.
A total of USD 8,000 in prize money will be awarded across the two competitions, with USD 4,000 allocated to Street Fighter 6 and USD 4,000 to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Winners will also receive travel and accommodation to compete at Evo France 2026, giving them the opportunity to continue their competitive journey from Riyadh onto the global stage.
Hosting Saudi eLeague Fighting: Road to Evo France reflects the Saudi Esports Federation’s continued efforts to strengthen the competitive fighting game ecosystem in the Kingdom, create meaningful competitive opportunities for players, and further connect Saudi Arabia’s fighting game community with international competitions and events.
