Global AI device ecosystem company HONOR today hosted the HONOR Imaging Technology Launch in Hengdian, introducing its latest mobile imaging technologies and outlining how professional cinema workflow can be adapted for mobile creation.
At the event, HONOR introduced the Optics-Intelligence Evolution principle behind its imaging strategy, showcased its HONOR AiMAGE chip-device-cloud imaging engine, and announced a joint imaging technology lab with ARRI. The launch also brought together Harald Brendel, ARRI Director Image Science; Claudio Miranda, Academy Award Winner; Wang Boxue, Cinematographer; Luo Wei, HONOR Chief Imaging Engineer; and Zhao Fuchen, HONOR Imaging Cognition Expert, to discuss how professional cinema technologies and creative workflows can be brought closer to mobile creators.
The launch marks a significant evolution in HONOR’s imaging strategy. Instead of focusing only on camera specifications, HONOR is building a more complete mobile imaging technology system across professional image capture, AI-powered processing, cinematic color science and creator-focused workflows.
