Jeddah Tower, a symbol of Saudi ambition overlooking the northern shores of the Red Sea in Jeddah, will stand as the world’s first 1km+ tall SkyPiercer and an iconic landmark not only for the Kingdom but globally. The tower will feature luxurious residential, commercial, and office spaces, a luxury hotel, and the world’s highest observatory deck.
KONE was selected as the vertical mobility partner for Jeddah Tower, the world’s tallest-building-to-be, reflecting its proven capability to meet the project’s highly complex technical and design requirements and the trust it has earned through landmark developments across the region. To ensure smooth People Flow® throughout this iconic building, KONE will deliver a total of 67 elevators and escalators, including 29 KONE MiniSpace™ elevators with speeds of up to 10 m/s, seven KONE MiniSpace DoubleDeck elevators, and two KONE JumpLift construction-time elevators. The order also includes 21 KONE MonoSpace® elevators, eight KONE TravelMaster™ 110 escalators, KONE Destination Control System, KONE 24/7 Connect, and KONE E-Link™ remote monitoring, as well as two years of maintenance. All solutions are tailored to meet the unique requirements of the Saudi environment.

Four of the MiniSpace™ elevators will be equipped with the KONE UltraRope®, a pioneering, super-light hoisting technology designed specifically for the demands of high-rise and supertall buildings. With a carbon fiber core and high-friction coating, KONE UltraRope® offers a unique combination of high performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. It enables unprecedented travel heights of up to one kilometer, overcoming the limitations of conventional steel ropes by significantly reducing moving masses.
This not only enhances ride comfort and system efficiency but also helps cut energy consumption by up to 15% on the over 630-meter vertical voyage to the world’s highest observation deck. KONE UltraRope® is also highly resistant to wear, abrasion, and building sway, offering a longer lifetime and reduced downtime in demanding conditions.

KONE officially booked the order in the third quarter of 2025. دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة – 04 ديسمبر 2025 – بدأ مشترو المنازل في الإمارات يلمسون موافقات أسرع وأكثر قابلية للتنبؤ على طلبات الرهن العقاري، مع قيام التقنيات المعتمدة على الذكاء الاصطناعي بإعادة صياغة أحد أكثر أجزاء رحلة شراء المنزل استهلاكًا للوقت: المعاملات الورقية. أعلنت هولو، منصة التكنولوجيا العقارية التي تأسست في دولة الإمارات، عن أتمتة العديد من الخطوات في ملف الحصول على الرهن العقاري والتي كانت عرضة للخطأ. وتشمل الأتمتة مختلف مفاصل العملية بدءاً من جمع المستندات ووصولاً إلى عملية التحقق من الدخل، في خطوة تسهم في تطوير آليات استصدار الرهن العقاري. وتمنح هذه العملية مشتري العقارات في دولة الإمارات تجربة ابسط وأكثر دقة، بالإضافة إلى حصولهم على الموافقات بشكلٍ أسرع والتنبؤ بنتيجة طلبهم، وذلك بفضل إدخال تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي للمساعدة في تبسيط المعاملات الورقية التي تسفر عن ضياع الوقت والجهد.

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 3 December 2025: Leejam Sports Company, the operator of Fitness Time clubs, announced its participation in rolling out the national “Swim Literacy Program”, launched by the Saudi School Sports Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The initiative is designed to equip elementary-school boys and girls with essential swimming skills, enhance water-safety awareness, reduce drowning risks, and identify promising young talent in the sport. The initiative is set to benefit 4,200 students in seven regions of the Kingdom, mainly Riyadh, Madinah, Al-Jouf, Al-Qassim, Tabuk, Najran, and Asir, delivered through 14 Fitness Time branches dedicated to the program.
This program is a continuation of Leejam’s role in supporting community initiatives and promoting healthy lifestyles among future generations. It features a comprehensive training plan delivered in two phases, with each phase offering three sessions per week, each lasting two hours, over the course of two weeks, for a total of six sessions per phase.”
The program is designed to equip students with essential foundational skills, including back floating, proper kicking techniques using a kickboard, controlled head submersion, and safe deep-water entry, along with the core fundamentals of freestyle swimming. Together, these elements aim to build students’ confidence in the water and deepen their understanding of key water-safety practices.
Leejam Sports is responsible for overseeing all operational components of the program, providing certified coaches and lifeguards, setting and managing training schedules, implementing the approved instructional framework, and tracking student progress to ensure that all learning objectives are achieved.
